Frequently Asked Questions
How do I measure the correct sleeve length?
For a suit jacket, put it on over a dress shirt that fits you well. The jacket sleeve should ideally end right at your wrist bone, allowing about a quarter-inch of your shirt cuff to show. Pin the excess fabric, and simply select “I’ve pinned or chalked the mark” in our booking builder.
What if my jacket has buttons on the cuff?
Suit jacket cuffs can be complex, which is why we ask you to upload up to 3 clear photos during checkout, including a close-up of the cuff. This allows your assigned professional tailor to assess the construction and determine the best way to shorten the sleeve while maintaining the original style.
Can you lengthen jacket sleeves too?
Yes! If your sleeves are too short and there is enough excess fabric folded inside the current hem, our tailors can let them out. Simply select “Lengthen” under the Service Type menu when starting your order.
